Our team - Megan Harris

Clinic Director/ PT Doctor

Dr. Megan Francisco Harris is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Langston University. Following graduation, she completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency through Memorial Hermann Ironman Sports Medicine Institute, where she advanced her expertise in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
Dr. Megan's passion for physical therapy began at a young age after witnessing her mother benefit from physical therapy treatment and experiencing multiple basketball-related injuries herself. These experiences sparked her desire to help others recover from pain, restore function, and return to the activities they love. Throughout her career, Megan has demonstrated a commitment to both patient care and professional development. She served as a clinical instructor, mentoring third-year physical therapy students, and taught musculoskeletal coursework at Texas Woman's University. She has also assisted in opening and developing physical therapy clinics, helping establish the systems and infrastructure necessary to create successful practices focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Dr. Megan specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a particular passion for treating spine dysfunction, low back pain, and hip pain. She is also dedicated to helping women overcome pelvic floor dysfunction and regain confidence in their movement and daily lives. Her treatment philosophy combines hands-on manual therapy, corrective exercise, and evidence-based strength training to address the root cause of pain and dysfunction. She believes that long-term success comes from empowering patients through education, helping them understand the "why" behind their symptoms and treatment plans, and building strength where weakness exists. Patients can expect an individualized approach that not only reduces pain but also creates lasting lifestyle changes that support lifelong health and injury prevention. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, attending Solidcore classes, weightlifting, and reading thriller and horror novels. Her passion for fitness, movement, and lifelong learning continues to fuel her dedication to helping others live active, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
